Data We Process

PC Build Pilot currently does not require a user account. When you use the builder, the selected component identifiers, filters, and share link data may be processed to display and restore your build.

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and message only to respond to your request.

Local Storage and Cookies

The builder stores your current build locally in your browser so it can be restored when you leave and return to the page. This is stored primarily in localStorage. If localStorage is unavailable, a local cookie may be used as a fallback.

You can clear this data by using the Reset button in the builder or by clearing your browser storage for this website.

Infrastructure Providers

The website is hosted on Vercel. Product catalog data is stored in a managed Postgres database hosted by Neon. These providers may process technical logs such as IP address, request metadata, error logs, and performance information needed to operate and secure the service.

Affiliate and Merchant Links

PC Build Pilot may link to third-party merchants such as Amazon. If you click an external merchant link, the merchant may process your data under its own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.

Analytics

PC Build Pilot does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.

Data Retention

Build data stored in your browser remains there until you reset the builder or clear browser storage. Email messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain reasonable business records.
